Napoli manager, Rafa Benitez has launched a scathing attack at Jose Mourinho
The former Chelsea manager had been subject to jibes from the Portuguese and has bitten hard in his response. Giving an interview to Napoli’s official website, he said:
“Mourinho talks a lot about a lot of people, but I prefer to talk about the facts. At Liverpool we knocked his Chelsea side out of the Champions League with a team that cost half as much as his.â€
“He coached a very strong and expensive Real Madrid side and he left without winning the Champions League. In three years he did nothing in Europe.â€
“Maybe if Mourinho sells Hazard and Oscar for €360m to build another team, he might win something.â€
Not the first time Mourinho has hit a nerve this season and Benitez’s reply has surely paved way for an enjoyable war of words between both managers.
