Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow after Eden Hazard limped out of the Champions League clash with PSG.
Hazard was forced off after just 18 minutes into the game due to a calf injury. He was replaced by Andre Schurrle who gave a stunning performance with a goal as Chelsea won 2-0 against PSG to advance into the Champions League semi-finals on away goals.
Jose Mourinho is already concerned about the lack of goals from his strikers in the last few weeks, and to lose Chelsea’s top goal scorer of this season will not make things easier for him.
According to Jose Mourinho, Hazard will be out for a minimum of two weeks. “It is a calf problem, but I have no idea the dimension of his injury. Even when they are not serious, you cannot play for a couple of weeks.”
Hazard will miss Chelsea’s next two games, which include a trip to Swansea, followed by a home game against Sunderland, with Chelsea fans likely to be keeping their fingers crossed that he will be ready to return before they play the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
