Diego Costa gets three match ban

The Fa has given Diego Costa a three match suspension for showing violent conduct towards Laurent Koscielny in our 2-0 win over Arsenal last Saturday.

Yesterday Diego Costa was charged by the FA and has today been deemed guilty of violent conduct. He’s been banned after the incident was not seen by the match referee Mike Dean and his officials but was caught on camera. The Spain international denied being violent towards Koscielny.

Costa’s ban will be served with immediate effect so he therefore misses the following games:

– Walsall (A)

– Newcastle (A)

– Southampton (H)

Both Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao will now have to fill in the gap upfront, two players who are more than capable of doing a good job for us.
