It hasn’t been a particularly busy week for big Chelsea transfer news, but something could be emerging now about a potential target.
Alexander Isak is a Swedish striker who plays for  AIK, and the 17 year old is a target for Juventus and PSG as well as the Blues, according to ESPN.
“PSG have been in contact with AIK numerous times but there is no offer on the table right now,” ESPN’s source said.
“Inside the club, Chelsea are the favourites and have already proposed €11 million.”
It’s no surpise the Isak is attracting attention. With 10 goals in 24 top flight games last season – when he was 16 – he clearly is more than just a flash in the pan.
Given that even established top division players like Michy Batshuayi are struggling for minutes in the first team, it seems inevitable that Isak would join the ranks of the loan army somewhere. At just 17 he has plenty of time left to develop, we just have hope he doesn’t become one of the forgotten men of Chelsea’s loan system – not getting any minutes for a mid table Championship club then scoring 6 a season in Turkey for a few years before falling off the radar entirely.
