Chelsea are preparing a big-money move for Inter Milan striker Gabigol, report the Express.
The highly-rated Brazilian joined the Serie A giants in the summer from Santos, but has made just one appearance so far this campaign.
The Express cite CalcioNews24Â who claim that Inter may be prepared to cash in on Gabigol, merely months after he signed for the club.
The tabloid believe that the 20-year-old would cost as much as £26 million if the Blues did decide to make a move either in the January window or next summer.
Antonio Conte’s striker situation is looking good at the moment. He has shown that he has no intentions of playing with two upfront, and with Diego Costa’s recent goal-scoring form he is not budging from the starting eleven anytime soon.
Costa’s gain is Michy Batshuayi’s pain in that respect, the Belgian moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer but has thus far had his opportunities limited. Seeing Batshuayi glued to the bench week-in week-out raises question marks as to whether we are in need of another centre-forward.
