Chelsea could be forced to pay up to €50m for Leon Bailey in the summer according to SportBild.
The German publication is quoted on SportWitness, who say that the 21 year old, who only signed for Leverkusen two years ago, would cost that figure to prise away from them this summer.
Chelsea need youth and attacking firepower, and the talented forward would seem to fit the bill perfectly.
He can play on either side of attack, and while he lacks experience he looks like the real deal in terms of pacy and technical attackers.
It is also claimed that the Blues were willing to pay €30m in January, but the Germans were holding out hoping that the former Genk man can raise his value even further with yet more good showings for them.
It certainly won’t be a straightforward signing, and there would likely be plenty of interest from other Premier League teams.
