Antonio Rudiger clashes with Germany teammate in training

ESPN has reported that Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has had a clash with Germany teammate Joshua Kimmich in training.

The Bayern Munich player reacted angrily to a tackle from Rudiger, who certainly doesn’t hold back as we’ve seen on numerous risky occasions when he’s been wearing Blue this season.

Germany coach Miroslav Klose apparently was forced to intervene to stop things boiling over between the pair.

That wasn’t the only tension in the camp either, with Julian Draxler getting stunned by an accidental elbow from Leroy Sane later that day.

Competition for places in the Germany XI is quite incredible, with plenty of top players not even making the 23, let alone the first team. So perhaps it’s not surprising that tension is bubbling over.

Whether this will help them or hinder them when it comes to the actual football remains to be seen. As long  as Toni doesn’t get hurt, we wouldn’t mind seeing their morale fall apart completely, to be honest.
