Chelsea and Napoli seem destined to exchange some amount of cash next transfer window with reports from England and Italy alike, saying both managers could be set for a switch of roles.
Calciomercato reported earlier this week that Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri could be set to swap their roles as managers of their respective clubs, as Roman Abramovich aims at acquiring the services of Sarri, while Napoli’s chiefs also wants Conte. This makes for an interesting break after this season.
Another piece of business that’s expected to take place between the to clubs, according to Daily Star, is Kalidou Koulibaly taking a place in Chelsea defense after this season. The Senegalese international has attracted interest from Stamford Bridge in recent seasons following his displays in the Serie A but there’s a new twist to the tale.
Football Italia now reports David Luiz will be eyed as replacement for Koulibaly, if Rafa Benitez is the man hired to replace Sarri at the end of the season.
