Chelsea are ready to battle Manchester United for Arsenal’s rising defender Hector Bellerin next summer, after a reported interest from Barcelona died off last summer.
The full back has been one of the brightest stars from the Emirates this season, following his all action displays for the Gunners.
Sport in Spain are reporting, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to add him to a list of players he wants to see at Chelsea as they seek to recover from the horror showing this season under Antonio Conte.
With Juventus a long term admirer of the Spanish defender, according to the Daily Star, and are also willing to pay up the £40 million Arsenal will demand for Bellerin’s deal to go through.
But Chelsea also face local competition for the 23-year old. Manchester United are also keen to land him with Mourinho eager to replace Matteo Darmian who looks on his way back to Italy after a disappointing spell in England with the Red Devils as Sky Sports reports.
