In the second in a series of brief profiles looking at players we think Chelsea should be looking at signing this summer, we have Leon Bailey, already recently linked with the club.
Bailey is a dangerous young attacking wide midfielder who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, and his profile has exploded this year after some superb showings in the Bundesliga. He is a mouth-watering prospect, as any casual viewing of his highlights will tell you.

Chelsea could really do with an injection of young attacking threat in the wide areas as Pedro and Willian come to the end of their careers. Young Bailey would be a superb option to replace them.
While he is likely to cost large amount, the fact that he’s not at a truly top club makes him a little more attainable than some potential targets. We must bite the bullet and pick up this rising prospect no matter the cost – before someone else does.
