Italian manager orders technical team to take English classes after accepting Chelsea offer

Rumors linking managers to Chelsea for next summer will just no go away, particularly that of Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri and now La Gazzetta dello Sport reports via CalcioMercato that negotiations are going very well.

Chelsea will seek to find a suitable replacement, ready to take the club back into glory again, and have identified Sarri as the man capable of doing just that.

Recent reports had it that Sarri was on the verge of accepting an offer from the Blues and was willing to leave his post at Napoli for the English game, following his side’s capitulation against Fiorentina last weekend.

Now, Gazzetta reports Roman Abramovich is not bothered about spending €8 million for Sarri’s release, with the report saying major developments are taking place including Sarri telling his assistants to begin English classes.

The 59-year old already speaks fluent English from his days as a banker in London before beginning his managerial career, but now will return to the city as one of the most respected coaches in European football.
