While Paris Saint Germain may be looking out for a new manager next summer following the announcement last week that Unai Emery was not going to be at the helm of the club beyond this season, some key players are willing to suggest who the club should buy in the summer.
Kylian Mbappe has revealed he wants N’Golo Kante to join his side in the upcoming transfer window, as he believes he will increase their profile in the Champions League and make a bit more competitive than they have been in the last year.
Kante has been one of France’s most improved players alongside a few others who have made the team look a bit stronger and fresher. He has played only one season in the France top flight though, with his one remarkable campaign coming in 2014-15.
His following season, was even more remarkable, helping English Premier League side Leicester City to a title in 2016/17 before moving to win the title with Chelsea the following year while winning the PFA Player of the Year, as captured by Sky Sports.
With PSG lacking some destructive qualities in midfield, Mbappe thinks the French Ligue 1 giants will be better off with Kante in their side next season.
“Kante, in terms of our needs and also the quality of the player. I think he’s a player who’d suit our team perfectly.
He’s French, and bringing a Frenchman back would be good as far as the attractiveness of our league is concerned. I think all the French love N’Golo Kante, and it would be a pleasure to see him again in our league.”
