With the transfer window on the horizon and not much left to play for at Chelsea, it’s no surprise that the great transfer windmill is gearing up once again.
This summer will be as much about the players who leave Chelsea as those who join, and David Luiz looks likely to be among them.
The Brazilian lost his place in the team after a dispute with Antonio Conte, and has since been suffering from a long term injury that’s prevented him from having a chance to retake it.
According to Spanish transfer rumour site Don Balon however, there are no shortage of takers for the defender. They claim that both Real Madrid and Monaco are interested in signing the out of favour former PSG man.
Chelsea, who are well stocked at centre-back, would likely jump at the chance to shift one of their older players, especially for a decent fee, so expect to hear more on this front if the rumours prove to be true.
