Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is said to be crazy about moving to Real Madrid next summer, hence the delay in penning a new deal at the club.
The want-away star has been eager for a move away from Chelsea after the disastrous season the Blues have endured, and now Onda Cero in Spain, quoted by Football Espana, claim the Belgium shot stopper is keen on a move and ‘crazy’ about it too.
Courtois has been linked with the move to Real all season, starting from last summer, but Chelsea are trying to offer him a new deal that will make him one of the highest earners among goalkeepers in the game, according to the Telegraph.
Real have not made an official bid for his services yet, but are very interested in getting the 25-year old to replace Keylor Navas after this season, and following the difficulty in landing their main target David De Gea from Manchester United, Courtois’ admission that he misses his family will get their attention.
The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper admitted in February to the Independent, that he misses his wife and children, whom he left in Spain, although maintaining his future is at Chelsea.
He has featured prominently this season, as he always has since he arrived at Chelsea in 2015, but is now keen to win more and sees Real as the best place to harness his potential and become a true world football great.
