The move of N’Golo Kante into a more attacking role has been one of the most controversial points of Maurizio Sarri’s reign so far.
It’s caused a lot of discussion in the punditocracy, and has had some Chelsea fans pulling their hair out.
There’s no denying you’re losing a lot of his effectiveness playing him ahead of the key defensive areas, but there are clear benefits too. This video from ConnCFC shows exactly the kind of thing he is bringing to the side in this new role.
