The brilliance of Chelsea’s academy graduate Callum Hudson-Odoi is much documented lately after his cameos have yielded more than merely positive results in the first team.
His exploits have attracted Bayern Munich and several other top European clubs to him this season but the Blues are not keen to let him go. This is why. A video shared by SoccerAM on Twitter showed Hudson-Odoi leaving defenders for dead when he was 13.
It honestly looks cruel to be making him play with kids his own age at that point. He could have been playing with 18 year olds back then already by the looks of things.
Back then, in 2015, Chelsea were having a horror season under Jose Mourinho. Nobody knew what was coming next.
