Chelsea academy product confirms he won’t be signing a new contract

Marcin Bulka in his Chelsea days

Chelsea academy keeper Marcin Bulka has confirmed that he will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of this month.

Bulka was involved in pre-season with Chelsea last summer as Thibaut Courtois went AWOL to force through a transfer to Real Madrid.

His involvement suggested that Maurizio Sarri could be open to giving him a first-team role, but the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga changed everything.

Kepa signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea, which is a clear indication of the commitment of both the player and the club to each other.

While we consider that to be good news, you could forgive Bulka for seeing it as confirmation that he needs to leave Chelsea.

Bulka’s contract is due to expire tomorrow, with the teenager confirming to Polish outlet TVP Sport that he will not be penning an extension.

He stopped short of admitting he was off to PSG, but one thing’s for sure now, he will not be a Chelsea player come the start of next season.
