In what ended up as a disappointing game between Chelsea and Kawasaki Frontale, there was one bright light for Blues fans: the introduction for Christian Pulisic for his first showing in Chelsea blue.
The American winger got a great response in the stadium, and on Twitter, where Blues fans rushed to hail their new saviour.
He didn’t have long on the pitch, but did impress with one quick turn in particular.
There’s a lot more to come from him, hopefully starting next week against Barcelona, but some people really are getting excited about the whole thing. Give him a chance guys! It’s a long road to becoming a Chelsea legend.
