Ross Barkley has really impressed in this preseason, and while he didn’t get the start tonight, he’s made up for that by grabbing a goal here at the end.
Frank Lampard is seeming to favour Mason Mount in the attacking midfield slot, but Barkley has consistently impressed as a sub, and today he showed his goal threat again with a low left footed drive to beat Neto at his near post.
It added the icing to the cake of a really good performance from the team as a whole.
