AC Milan slap low price tag on potential Chelsea target

Chelsea are of course banned from signing players until the summer as things stand, but as we all know by now, they are looking to get the ban overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport and could still be able to buy in January.

This still seems unrealistic with the winter market being notoriously hard to deal in.

However, this is not stopping them allegedly looking at potential targets. One player who they have been linked with signing before is AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.

And now, according to CalcioMercato, should Chelsea wish to pursue that move, Milan will ask for 35 million euros for Piatek, which is only what they paid for him themselves in January.

The Poland international is going through a rough patch of form this season, and is struggling to get amongst the goals after showing the form that got him a move to Milan in the first place.

But before this spell, he was rated as one of the best prospects in world football so I’m very sure he’s not done yet.
