Chelsea fans hoping to see brilliant young talent in action again

We’re really hoping to see Billy Gilmour tomorrow night against Man United.

The kid has already been given minutes in friendlies and the Premier League by Frank Lampard, and he started the first Carabao Cup game of this season against Grimsby.

That’s what gives us hope that Frank will go back to the well and pick the young Scot again tomorrow. He certainly wasn’t put off by the experience of subbing him on against Sheffield United at home in the league and seeing his team then drop points.

With N’Golo Kante likely still out, and Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount all looking for a rest, there will be a natural space for the creative midfielder in the middle.

There are other youngsters we’d like to see too – Marc Guehi for example. But the way Billy plays is just so good to watch, we’d rather see him than anyone else, frankly.

Man U will be featuring plenty of young players too, so it should be a good game for him to make an impact.
