Callum Hudson-Odoi scored twice in a sensational game for the England U21s tonight, getting Chelsea fans very excited for this weekend.
Frank Lampard has already shown that he’s very willing to throw him into the action, and this spicy showing would only have further added to the arguments in his favour.
So the news that Carefree Youth on Twitter brought after the game, that CHO was seen with an ice pack on his thigh, is causing a lot of distress.

Don’t panic. It’s an ice pack on the leg. Not a stretcher. It’s not what we wanted to hear, but let’s not overreact.
It may well be true that he was getting some treatment, and Hudson-Odoi did indeed leave the pitch after 87 minutes to be replaced by fellow Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher, but it looked more like fatigue than anything else.
The winger is still only regaining match fitness, and it’s only natural for him to come off before the end, and even get some ice on a sore muscle.
He’s still likely to be ready for the weekend – unless we hear differently from Frank Lampard in the press conference this Friday.
