Chelsea enjoyed triumph in Amsterdam last night as they beat Ajax 1-0 on their own turf.
The Blues were in for a tough match against last years Champions League Semi Finalists, but they did more than just match them up, going home happy with all three points.
Chelsea now top the group with Ajax being on six points each.
Tammy Abraham started the game for Chelsea and had a good shift up top. But he was bought off midway through the second half to be replaced by Michy Batshuayi, his direct rival for that main centre forward starting spot.
Batshuayi of course went on to score the winning goal and along with Chrisitan Pulisic, changed the dynamics of the game and gave Chelsea that attacking threat.
Abraham was watching on as his rival staked a claim for a starting role in the next match against Burnley at the weekend.
But Abraham is a team player, and the first thing he did when that final whistle blew, was run onto the pitch to celebrate the win with his team mates, Michy Batshuayi in particular.
He was genuinely pleased for his rival to have scored, putting the club over himself. This is great to see.
