Chelsea could be without key midfielder N’Golo Kante for the immediate future, with Goal reporting that The Blues have ‘no time frame’ to when he will return.
The France World Cup winner has been struggling with different injuries since April, with reports that he was even a doubt for the Europa League Final against Arsenal last season.
I remember being reliably told that Kante was not fit to play in the Europa League final ahead of kick off. Ramifications of that decision to use him regardless still being felt despite him being influential in the win that night.

But Kante was selected for France in the latest international break and came back injured once again.
Chelsea have also been using him this season when perhaps he really should have just been given some solid time on the sidelines, in order to fully recover from the numerous issues he is going through.
It looks like the club have now realised that this will need to happen now, putting no pressure on Kante returning without releasing any return dates.
Let’s hope that he can fully recover and get back to his best and that this isn’t the start of him becoming an injury prone player.
