Why Chelsea selling starter could work out perfectly for them and the player

Marco Silva is under a lot of pressure.

How can you tell? Because he had to denying being under pressure in a recent press conference. The Liverpool Echo were in attendance, and they recorded a few interesting snippets for Chelsea fans.

One thing that would serious help out Silva, feeling the early season stress of three defeats in a row, is signing back Kurt Zouma. The Chelsea defender was a key fixture in Silva’s Everton side last year, convincing plenty of people he was ready to step up and start for us.

Instead he’s watched Fikayo Tomori and Andreas Christensen step ahead of him in line, and once Antonio Rudiger is back, Zouma is going to find himself buried on the depth chart.

So many a move to Everton could suit both parties. Zouma gets to go back and play where he was succeeding, and we clear the decks for Tomori as a long term starter, as well as cashing in on selling our player to a team who know his quality and will be willing to pay decent money.
