Chelsea will be in Champions League pole position if Tammy stays among top scorers

Given our struggles to find a top number 9 to replace Diego Costa, and the transfer ban we had in place this summer, not many people will have been expecting to see a Chelsea player topping the scoring charts in the Premier League come mid-October.

But there Tammy Abraham is, battling Sergio Aguero and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the golden boot. But how will each of these forwards be looking in a month’s time?

Manchester City have Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Southampton up next. They could easily score 15 goals in those 3 games alone.

Arsenal on the other hand, have Sheffield United, Palace and Wolves. That’s a tougher run, and more importantly, Arsenal aren’t as good as City.

Finally, Chelsea have Newcastle, Burnley and Watford.

That’s three pretty easy games, as PL games go, for each team, and all of those strikers will be looking to add more to their already impressive totals.

If Tammy is still in pole position come mid-November, there will be no question. We will be up there at the top of the table, hopefully with 3 wins in our pocket. For as long as our defence struggles we will be depending on our star new number 9 – and he keeps scoring, we will keep winning.
