Chelsea have a quick turn around from their trip to Holland in midweek to facing Burnley in the Premier League tomorrow.
Celebrations would have been short lived for Frank Lampard and their lads after their impressive away victory against Ajax in the Champions League.
Since then they have been busy preparing for tomorrow’s league clash against Burnley in the 5.30pm kick off.
Chelsea host a Burnley side who have had a mixed start to their campaign. Sean Dyche’s side currently sit mid table in 8th position and will be looking to put up a decent fight against Lampard’s Chelsea tomorrow.
The Blues go into the game on a six game winning streak and will be looking to extend that tomorrow, but no games are ever easy in the Premier League.
Frank Lampard is currently talking to the press and has revealed the latest Chelsea team and injury news, as reported by Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella.
He said:
“Loftus-Cheek is well out. Rudiger won’t be ready for the weekend but he is getting closer outside with us. N’Golo won’t be ready but he is training alone. Christensen is still out. Barkley is out, not majorly out, but just out. Hopefully back next week.”
