Frank Lampard believes Chelsea will be looking to sign new players

Chelsea are still currently under a transfer ban and are unable to sign players until next summer, as things stand.

But as is now common knowledge, the club have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and hope that the ban will get overturned in time for them to sign players in January.

Frank Lampard has been speaking in his pre-match press conference today taking questions about The Blues latest match against Burnley tomorrow.

But he has also been asked about whether Chelsea will be able to sign players in January, with some rumours starting to circulate about certain players they might be targeting.

As expected though, the Chelsea boss was unsure on whether they will be able to sign in January, but he does believe that they will be looking to improve the squad whenever they get that opportunity to do so.

As reported by Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, Lampard said:

“I don’t know if we can. That’s not in my hands. I don’t want to speculate. A club like Chelsea will always be looking at how we can improve the squad but I don’t know at the moment.”
