Chelsea were triumphant in Amsterdam last night, beating last seasons Champions League semi finalists 1-0 in their own back yard.
Frank Lampard cut a very happy figure after the match, and there has been jubilant celebrations since.
Of course, it’s only one group match. But there was a feel of Chelsea and Lampard proving a lot of doubters wrong last night, it was certainly his best win of the season so far and it was entirely deserved.
His assistant Jody Morris found himself getting booked on the bench in the first half, but his passion and love for the club can never be questioned.
Jody was one of the first on the pitch after the game alongside Lampard and the players to celebrate collectively, as he posted on his Twitter account here…
