Juan Mata names the “best players” he’s played with, including 6 Chelsea players

Juan Mata has named his best ever teammates from a long career that has seen him play with some of the very best at Chelsea, Valencia and Manchester United.

The Spaniard was utterly brilliant for us for s short period, and he played with some of the greatest Chelsea legends around.

As always Mata is in superbly polite form in his interview with Planet Football, so he makes sure to mention a whole host of players from each of his teams.

At Chelsea he picks out “Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Cech, Ashley Cole and Ivanovic in a really strong dressing room” as the top players he played with.

That’s some roster he’s got there. When you combine it with the players at United and Valencia he adds to the list, you realise that the creative midfielder really has had a charmed career in terms of teammates over the years.

If only Jose Mourinho hadn’t decided to sell him…
