“It just feels right” – Joe Cole outlines the good feel at Chelsea right now

Chelsea coach Joe Cole is a regular Champions League pundit on BT Sport and to be honest, it’s very refreshing to have a Chelsea man amongst the punditry.

It’s always great to hear the views of Cole due to him still being involved at Chelsea and being in and around the club on a daily basis.

Cole was present in the BT studios again last night as he watched his Chelsea colleagues beat Ajax 1-0 in their own backyard.

The former Chelsea player was as happy as any supporter after the match and described the performance as being Frank Lampard’s best as Chelsea manager so far.

It was an enjoyable watch for Chelsea fans who saw their team control large periods of the game, especially in the second half. They were probably deserved winners overall and there was jubilant scenes of celebrations when the full time whistle went.

As reported by The Daily Mail, Cole said:

“It was a top class performance and certainly Frank’s best performance since he went over.

“From being in and around the club it just feels right, Players who may have felt pushed aside or unsure of their future, they are now producing big moments for the club and it is credit to Frank and his staff. It is really looking good at Chelsea.

“As players you want to know what is expected and what your role is.

“It seems that every game they play they get better and better. For a team like Ajax, not many teams go there, control possession and keep the ball as well as [Chelsea] did.

“They were excellent tonight.”
