There is no doubt that Christian Pulisic was Chelsea’s hero of the day in their 4-2 victory over Burnley yesterday.
The one that Blues fans affectionately call Captain America scored the perfect hat trick, one with his left foot, one with his right, and one with his head, rounding off a fantastic man of the match display for Chelsea.
Who Scored gave him the best possible rating you can receive (10), and rated Willian as Chelsea’s second best player (8.0).
But it was Chelsea’s midfield pivot that once again controlled the play, particularly Mateo Kovacic, who received deserved plaudits for another great performance.
He is building up a decent partnership with Jorginho in the absence of N’Golo Kante, and they are actually looking pretty unbreakable right now.
The reason they are so effective is they way they keep the ball, use it, and get out of high press situations.
Both players once again got the highest pass completion percentages on the pitch, according to Who Scored.
Jorginho completed 94% passes. Kovacic completed 92%. They do this every match right now.
