Pedro looking to move on – but will still have the chance to make an impact

The Metro are reporting that Pedro is unhappy at Chelsea and is considering pushing for a move this summer.

After being a key player for several managers, the Spaniard has lost his place in the first XI, and is sometimes now not even in the matchday squad.

He certainly appears to be ending the end of his time as a lock to play in the first team every week. The emergence of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Willian’s good form and Frank Lampard’s willingness to squeeze Mason Mount into the team on the wing have all hurt the World Cup winner’s playing time.

On the other hand, he’s always been in and out of the team over the years, and often in the second half of the season when the form of other players wanes and injuries start to bite, he’s made his mark.

He may well see his future elsewhere, but the chances are he will yet get the chance to make an impact in important moments for Chelsea.
