Chelsea are taking on Manchester United at home tonight, and the performance has been… awful.
The first half saw a really disjointed Blues side fail to string any passes together, and then gift Man U a soft penalty to give them the lead.
It’s just not good enough, especially given our recent form, and fans all over social media aren’t happy.
You can see a selection of the reaction from some of the Big Names of Chelsea Twitter right here:

If things don’t improve, what’s the first change you would make? #CHEMUN

looked like we were in slow-motion. no desire to break lines, aimless long balls from Caballero, Batshuayi isolated, incredibly negative in possession.. and a how-not-to-defend masterclass from Alonso to gift a penalty. next 45 will be better because it’s impossible to do worse.

Not sure why people are so insecure about Hudson-Odoi. Just admit he’s been poor today. If you’re earning well over £100k a week at 18, people hold you to higher standards.
Yes, we know everyone else apart from maybe Kovacic has been poor too. Not the point.

We prefer when teams look to press us in mid, we love space
But we struggle against teams that keep their discipline and shape. United are happy to play with no possession these days
It’s hard to do anything tho when we keep losing easy possession tho

Tammy, Mason are the most likely subs. This match is screaming for their presence.

HT Thought:
• This game feels like a game where Tammy & Mount could make a world of difference as subs. Tammy’s hold-up play would really suit Pulisic & CHO, and Mount offers an eye for goal in the midfield that Jorginho, Kovačić & Gilmour don’t have.

Lampard should've played Pedro as a 10. Gilmour there is useless. Gilmour and Batshuayi are the reason why we are yet to trouble Manchester United. Hope this changes in the second half.

Let’s hope they can do a little better in the second period. COME ON CHELSEA!
