How Reece James reacted after Manchester United defeat

Chelsea academy graduate Reece James enjoyed a full 90 minutes against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup last night.

Although the result went against him, he would have enjoyed playing a full match in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

The Blues lost the match 2-1 and conceded to a penalty and a free kick. But James didn’t really put a foot wrong and had another good shift.

The 19-year old has dreamed of becoming a Chelsea regular since he was a very young kid and joined the clubs academy.

Many believe it is only a matter of time before he becomes a regular in Frank Lampard’s starting eleven, and he certainly has the quality to backup those claims.

The Blues were left disappointed losing to United once again and feel aggrieved to have not gotten the win.

Neither side played well, but there was a period in the second half where Chelsea were on top and should have gone on to win the match, and James knows it.
