Strange claim made about Victor Moses’ injury and a potential return to Chelsea

Well here’s a very odd one…

Victor Moses is into the second year of his two year loan at Fenerbahce this season, and things aren’t going too well.

He made a good impact last season, but this term has been injury plagued, and the Yellow Canaries are struggling to boot. A shame, but so far, so normal.

SportWitness have a report that really shakes things up though. Translating a report from Turkey, they say that Moses is reluctant to rush back from injury because he’s intending to try and come back to play for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in January.

That would be an… odd move on so many levels. Leaving aside whether it would even be possible in the terms of his loan, you have to wonder how and where he would even fit in to Frank’s squad.

We reckon this is just some nonsense made up to explain his absence from the team, and once he’s back and playing it should disappear pretty quickly.
