Emerson Palmieri is back in full training for Chelsea.
The news was confirmed by the left back himself on his Twitter account, before reports were also picked up in the wider media, in sources like The Metro.

It all confirmed Simon Johnson of the Athletic’s information earlier, that Palmieri would return to the team in next week’s game against Ajax in the Champions League.
Marcos Alonso has done a fine job in Emerson’s absence, but it’s a big boost to Frank Lampard nevertheless. Emerson is not only a good player, having both him and Alonso available massively helps the squad depth as we prepare to enter the busiest section of the season.
#Christensen has had a scan on a hamstring injury and is unlikely to feature. #Kante is doubtful too – has minor groin problem. #Kovacic suffered minor leg injury playing for Croatia but hope is he will be okay. #Emerson set to return for #cfc against Ajax next week.

Games in the Champions League and Carabao Cup are added to our league matches over the next month, and Alonso alone would have struggled to make it through all of them,
If Emerson can regain the excellent form from before the injury that’s a bonus. But having him back at all is enough to strengthen the squad for this next phase of Frank Lampard’s debut campaign at the club.
