Frank Lampard gave his press conference at St Mary’s after the win on Sunday, and the video is now available online.
It was a fairly routine one, albeit positive, after a routine win. The manager did get a chance to talk up Tammy Abraham, mentioning his physique and the work that goes into it at the training group in particular.
“The work ethic behind the scenes that gets him in such good nick… it’s brilliant,” the manager said, and he’s someone who would know all about that. He reckons it’s the physical power and speed that the forward is bringing to his game right now that is hurting the opposition.
