Frank Lampard has been speaking to BT Sport after his first Champions League win as a manager, and it was all positive really after a fun win in France against Lille.
One thing that the interviewer Reshmin Chowdhury picked out after the game was the flexibility that allowed us to go to a back 3 in this game, and then return to a 4 in the second half when he were chasing a goal.
It’s a really impressive feature of Lampard’s system so far, and he responded that while he didn’t want to make “change for change’s sake”, the flexibility was “something we want to have”.
