Chelsea play Man U tonight in the Carabao Cup, and if they win they’re in the quarter finals of the competition.
It comes around quickly, and Frank Lampard the Chelsea manager was asked about whether he was thinking about trophies already. He batted the question back as you might expect, saying it’s too early to think about that kind of thing, but it’s pretty clearly on his mind.
“I try not to think too far ahead,” he responded in his press conference yesterday, not exactly a denial that it’s on his mind.
