“I don’t want to talk” – Lampard discusses history with David Luiz in frosty interview

Frank Lampard has been speaking to the media ahead of Chelsea’s game with Arsenal this afternoon.

The Blues boss got rid of David Luiz at the last minute this summer, after it became clear that the defender wasn’t going to be a guaranteed first choice in the team.

He made his way to Arsenal, where he’s since been a mainstay of their struggling side. Chelsea’s official website have an interview with Lampard where he discusses his memories of managing

‘There are decisions you have to make and it was just a decision that was made,” Lampard said rather neutrally. You can tell a lot about this situation from the rather frosty comments from all sides.

“While I’m here, I’ll be making countless more of those in different ways so that’s just what it is. I don’t want to talk too much going into a game against a player who I respect and played with,” he concluded.

It seems like we can conclude that things didn’t end too well behind the scenes. Let’s hope that everyone can put it behind themselves and can play this game with a good spirit.
