Frank Lampard forced into first half change as Chelsea struggle severely

Chelsea are in serious trouble against Arsenal right now.

The Blues have just not got going in this game, and find themsevles 1-0 down against a far more bright and organised Gunners team.

After our best chance of the game – a set piece played short cleverly and then smashed at Bernd Leno by Mason Mount – Arsenal went down the other end for a corner of their own, and scored it.

Apart from that, the team just isn’t functioning in open play, and the 343 Frank Lampard has started the game with is clearly not functioning.

Lampard has therefore gone to his bench before the half has even arrived, bringing on Jorginho with just 33 minutes gone.

Emerson, who was at fault for the goal, has been hauled off, with Azpi going to left back and it looks like Fikayo Tomori playing on the right.

It’s a risky move, but something had to be done. Credit to Frank for not holding back.
