The transfer rumours are hotting up as the reality sets in – the next time Chelsea play a match, they are able to sign new players again.
The winter transfer window opens in just two days now and Chelsea would have already been working on any deals they are looking to complete.
One player who has been mentioned with a move to Chelsea for a long time is Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho.
All publications are in agreement that he is a Chelsea target, even if The Blues cannot get him until the summer. The likelihood is they might look to complete the deal in January, then loan him back to Dortmund until the summer, just as they did with Christian Pulisic.
The latest report via The Telegraph only reiterates Chelsea’s strong chances of signing Sancho.
They claim that The Blues have emerged as front runners for his signature, ahead of Manchester United, and they also believe that the appeal of returning to London will play a part for Sancho, who grew up in Camberwell, south London and came through Watford’s academy.
It’s heating up!
