Now Sarri wants Chelsea striker at Juventus

For some reason Chelsea seem to love buying and selling from Serie A, and the rumour mongers use that as a constant source of speculation to link our players back to the Italian top flight.

The fact that our two most recent ex-managers, Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri are now managing two of the top clubs in that division. The moment a player seems to want out at Stamford Bridge – see Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud, they are naturally linked to either Inter Milan or Juventus.

This time round, in The Sun, it’s “Giroud” and “Juventus” that have come up on the transfer dice. The striker wants out of Chelsea after playing very little this season, and Juventus could be a natural landing spot for him.

There he can back up their top strikers, and while he might not play a huge amount, it will be way more than he’s playing right now at Chelsea, where he’s made just 7 appearances all season.
