As the January transfer window approaches, many fans, pundits and reporters are making their predictions and giving their insight into who Chelsea might be looking at purchasing next month.
There has been plenty of talk about potential attacking targets and even Frank Lampard himself has touched upon this in recent interviews, including this one from after yesterdays home defeat to Southampton.
However, there are two other positions that Chelsea are prioritising next month, according to transfer guru Graeme Bailey.
Bailey was talking on the Football Show Sirius XM and he stated that Frank Lampard is actually looking at the left back position and the goalkeeper as a priority.
Transfer guru @GraemeBailey reckoned on #TheFootballShow @SiriusXMFC 157 that #Chelsea are prioriting a left-back & keeper in the transfer market. For me, biggest improvement last hard home games would be a ball playing central defender & a creative midfielder. Feed the spine!

I do find this hard to believe, I cannot see that Chelsea will be selling Kepa Arrizabalaga in January, and I believe that the club would be prioritising other positions such as a winger and a centre back.
Unless of course Bailey knows something inside the club that we do not know.
