ESPN have been breaking down Chelsea’s win over Arsenal at the weekend, and they’ve highlighted the Jorginho substitution in the 34th minunte as the tactical change that won the game.
Lampard himself insisted that it wasn’t really down to the tactical change of the 343 changing to a 433, and that it was more to do with the extra leadership and control that Jorginho’s personality contributed to the team.
In reality it was a combination of both, and it worked superbly.
