Chelsea reportedly make ‘firm offer’ for 21-year old Spanish international

Chelsea have been linked with a lot of players so far in the build up to the transfer window opening yesterday, especially after they learned they would be able to sign players again.

Whilst Blues fans collect their lists of reported targets there will be another name to add to this today, with a new player being linked with the club.

According to Spanish publication Sport, as translated by Sport Witness, Chelsea have made a ‘firm offer’ for Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder Dani Olmo.

The 21-year old Spanish international is a former Barcelona youth player, and Sport claim that the Catalan side are also keen on bringing him back to the club and could rival Chelsea’s alleged offer.

There are no details of the fee offered, but Sport Witness claim that Zagreb value the midfielder at around 40 million euros.

It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this, or whether it’s just a passing rumour…
