“Very poor individually” – Frank Lampard unhappy with defending on Bournemouth goal

Frank Lampard has been speaking to the press after yet another disappointing result, and you could hear the frustration in his voice when he discussed where things had gone wrong for his team.

On the first goal he conceded that Jefferson Lerma’s mighty leap was almost unstoppable, but when it came to Josh King’s goal, he was less circumspect:

“The second goal I didn’t like at all. Very poor individually,” he commented, clearly seething over a goal that ended up costing us two points.

The midfield went soft and allowed Jack Stacey to burst through, with our defenders reacting too slowly and allowing Josh King to tap into an empty net.
