Frank Lampard had a press conference today, but was cornered separately at training to be answer some questions about Hakim Ziyech, the Ajax winger who it was announced yesterday that Chelsea had completed a deal for.
Lampard called him “a fantastic player” and mentioned that it was his Champions League performances that really impressed him in the last couple of years.
It really sounds like he’s excited to have the new guy in the squad, and he’s excited on behalf of the fans too to have something fresh and exciting out on the pitch come next season.
