Monday Night Football on Sky always produces some great content, and this week they had a pretty weighty debate about who the best English club sides ever are.
Of course Jose Mourinho’s 2004-2006 Chelsea were in the mix with all of the greatest teams in the nation’s history, a proud achievement for any Blues fan. We all still remember just how good that side was.
They still have the best defensive record in top flight history, after conceding just 15 goals in the 2005 season, and as defenders both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville appreciate that.
